As red LED’s need 1v8, green LED’s need 2v & blue LED’s need 3v then why blue & green 1s using same value of resistors?
Why did you not use 2 × 16ohm risistors to = 32ohms? By having the 2=; then if they do not = quiet the correct values; then there =50% chance of 1=ing more & 1=ing less? But having 1=ing 2× the other then the larger 1 may =2× off what the smaller 1= off?

Hi. Thanks for the comment. Yeah, South Lettings are a pain in the neck. I've warned all of my friends against them at uni, and I believe they're even on our University's 'naughty list' now hehe.

I didn't blog it, but after a couple of months I actually won the dispute. The DPS awarded me all of my deposit as they found that South Lettings had broken the terms of the DPS in trying to deduct fees from the deposit. Shamefully the DPS didn't comment on whether or not the legal case I put forward was valid, but at least I got the money back :)

Good luck with your dealings with South Lettings.

Wow...

I am letting with Southlettings.. and now i am a bit wary of them. I have been having issues as well.

When i moved in, things were still not fixed ( they had 1-2 months to fix everything) Now its almost 2 months and some are still not fixed

1. Bedroom Cupboards broken at back (apparently cant be fixed) and door hanging off 1 hinge ( they screwed this back on)
2. Broken toilet seat (replaced after 1 month)
3. Loose Curtain railings ( fixed after 1 month + i did a temporary fix on some)
4. One Kitchen spot light not working (non existant) , it looks "broken" on the inside and covered in dust
5. Window shades covered in candle soot and wax.. asked to replace with curtain , but so far.. nothing happened...
6. No paint-job done in the bedrooms
7. All rubbish from previous tenants were still around... ranging from general rubbish to an entire consignment of thongs.
8. The hob in the kitchen was and still is covered with burns and grease

I had a check-in fees too ... i just hope i don't have a checkout fee.. and i really hope they don't charge me for things they haven't fixed and pin it on me!

Good luck in your battle!
